Super Star Program

Lone Star® is pleased to offer our Super Star Awards Program, a program specifically designed to reward the hard work and commitment needed to produce champions. The Super Star Awards Program provides unprecedented cash awards and recognition to FFA and 4-H show exhibitors who produce grand and reserve champions. The program also includes a wide selection of prizes for winners to choose from. The Show Season extends from July 1 through June 30.
Entries must be submitted no later than June 30.

Official Rules & Qualifications

1. A student (exhibitor) may win only one award per animal per Show Season (July 1 - June 30) and a maximum of two (2) awards per season. Awards will be paid at highest level won. You may hold your application until after all the shows you plan to attend, but it must be submitted no later than June 30.
2. Awards will be given for Junior Shows only. No awards will be given for Open, Adult, or Jackpot Shows. Awards will be given for overall winners at each show. No awards will be given for age, weight, senior, class, or division winners.
3. In order to qualify for a breed award there must be at least 10 different animals showing in the breed or breed category. Example: In order to be eligible for an award in the Southdown Ewe category, there must be at least 10 different animals showing in that category.
4. Lone Star® feed must be the only commercial feed fed to the animal from start to show. Homegrown feeds and grains may be used in combination with Lone Star® feeds. Only those Lone Star® feeds listed as eligible for each category of animal may be used. Proof of purchase (sales receipts or copies) must be submitted with award application.
5. State Show Applicants: As a condition of eligibility to receive a state level award, each applicant must furnish TFP Nutrition with a color photograph posing with the award/trophy and animal at the show. The photograph should be a clear 8" x 10" color glossy. Please pose in front of the “show banner” if possible, and please have the photograph taken by the professional photographer at the show. TFP Nutrition will pay up to $26 for the cost of such a photo providing a receipt for the photograph is submitted. District/Region and County/Parish Shows do not require photos for eligibility; however, applicants are encouraged to include a clear, photo posing with the award and animal at the show.
6. Upon winning, an applicant should complete and submit an award application for each winner, including the release signed by their parents or guardian, the name and address of their vo-ag teacher or agent, and receipts showing proof of purchase. Submit an electronic application below or mail your completed application to TFP Nutrition, P. O. Box 630009, Nacogdoches, TX 75963 for review and approval. Allow 4 - 6 weeks from date you submit your application to receive your award.
7. TFP Nutrition senior management has the sole right to determine the eligibility of the applicant and interpret the official rules and qualifications. The Super Star Awards Progam is subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.
