Positions pay $18.00/hr - $19.50/hr!

JOB PURPOSE

The Control Room Operator receives ingredients, operates batching and fat coating equipment, batches different formulas to a recipe, and operates the hammer-mills.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Drive fork lift.

· Operate all equipment related to the batching, receiving, coating, and grinding processes.

· Batch formulas according to the schedule.

· Adhere to all employee safety regulations.

· Adhere to all food safety requirements.

· Adhere to all SOP’s.

· Unload ingredients according to procedures.

· Perform all QA checks that are required.

· Collect samples as specified.

· Inventory duties as assigned, daily and monthly.

· Sanitation duties as assigned

· Maintenance duties as assigned.

· PM duties as assigned.

· Any other assigned duties.

· Be trained and fully qualified in the FSM and HACCP food safety program.

AUTHORITY

Act within established limits. In the absence of a Control Room operator and if manpower is needed to fill manufacturing requirements overtime will be used to cover the position. TFP also has cross-trained operator who are trained in all aspects of the Control Room position. It will be up to management as to the most efficient way to cover the manpower requirements. Only employees who are fully trained and qualified in the food safety program will be allowed to cover this position in case of an absence. Plant Management will be available for assistance and consultation on any issues that arise that are beyond the training and or the authority of the control room operator.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Hand-eye coordination.

· Repetitive bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, and kneeling.

· Lift heavy weight up to 110 pounds repetitively throughout the day.

· Climbing ladders and working in high places.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Dusty conditions that may require the wearing of respirators and eye protection.

· Noisy conditions that may require hearing protection.

· Seasonal variations of extreme heat and cold in an inside and outside work environment.
