Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine electrical preventative maintenance on Pet-Food manufacturing equipment
  • Responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electrical equipment
  • Perform tasks like wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing devices
  • Performs test on electrical motors / sensors / circuits using multi-meter and Megger
  • Work 12hr shifts and overtime as scheduled or required
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety PPE and completing all required Food Safety training
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Must have 8 years of Electrician experience in Industrial / Manufacturing facility
  • Background in Electrical Motor Controls – Industrial Production Facility
  • Must have knowledge in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring, and troubleshooting of such systems.
  • Experience with 480-volt power and PLC logic circuits
  • Must be able to understand and follow electrical schematics proficiently without supervision
  • Experience with (automated) machine control systems
  • Diagnosing and fix electrical issues, often under time constraints to minimize downtime
  • Ability to troubleshoot (complex) machine control systems
  • Familiar with pneumatic and electronic controllers
  • Willing and able to work a 12-hour shift / 48hrs week schedule
  • Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills

Additional Experience – (preferred)

  • VFD drives experience
  • PLC Experience

Pay Range: Starting pay $26.00-$32.00 Per hour Depending on Experience

Night shift differential - $1.00 per hour

Sign on Bonus and Monthly Attendance Bonus

Pet Food Shift availability: 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. Weekly working hours 48 per week.

There is mandatory overtime and on-call rotation associated with being a maintenance technician. This may include weekends and/or holidays.
